Espalier

Design Notes

A decadent display typeface borrowing from the nature inspired Art Nouveau movement.

Curvaceous and fluid, Espalier is defined by contrasting forms, strong verticality, and a flowing, interconnected relationship between the letterforms. Sharpened serifs have an elegant, thorny nature, as the letters present in a slightly austere manner. Featuring straightened-up stylistic alternates, and elegant ligatures, the typeface carries a flexible tonality, while remaining expressive and distinctive.

Espalier is perfectly suited to editorial, hospitality, packaging, and headline use.
