We have two licence types, which are priced by the size of the organisation that will own the licence. These are perpetual, pay once, no ongoing subscriptions, and no usage caps.
For any use where the font is baked into a finished file. OTF files supplied.
For any use where the font is rendered live. No page-view caps, or active user counts. WOFF2 and OTF files supplied.
Buying both licences together sees a 50% discount on the second licence.
Pricing is primarily based on the size of the organisation that will own the licence. This is calculated off the total number of people, including contractors, who work for that organisation.
If you’re a designer or studio licensing on behalf of the your client, it is the client’s organisation that is counted. You do not need to purchase a separate licence to complete work for that client, your use is covered, please see more detail below.
If the organisation grows significantly after purchase, we ask that you contact us to upgrade your tier.
Sharing the font with vendors (i.e. designers, creative agencies, developers, printers) who are completing creative or production-related work for the licensing organisation is permitted, they don’t need to purchase their own licence. Use of the font is limited to work for the licensing organisation only, the license does not extend to other clients.
Our trial fonts include full character sets, so you can truly test the type before you commit. Great for pitches and mock-ups. Students can use these trial fonts for academic projects.
These trial fonts are for evaluation only, and cannot be used for published or commercial work. The full terms are included with the download.
Count the total number of people employed by, or regularly contracted to, the organisation that will own the licence. It’s that headcount that matters, not the agency or studio doing the work.
Licences are priced at the time of purchase. If your organisation grows significantly into a higher tier, we ask kindly that you upgrade. You’ll only pay the difference between your current licence and the new one. Get in touch at hello@likelysuspects.co and we’ll sort it out.
Yes, within reason. If you’re a designer licensing on behalf of a client, you’re covered to complete the work without needing your own licence. You can also share the fonts with vendors working on the brand, i.e. printers, developers, content agencies. Their use is covered by your licence as long as it’s for your brand only.
Until the global society as we know it collapses. All our licences are perpetual; pay once and it’s yours. We don’t do subscriptions or renewal fees.
Because our fonts are immediately delivered digitally, we don’t offer refunds once the files have been downloaded. Luckily we offer full trial versions of our fonts, so you can test everything out before purchasing. If you experience a genuine technical issue, get in touch and we’ll make it right.

After completing your purchase you’ll receive an email with a secure download link. Click that to download a zip file containing your licensed font files and a copy of the licence agreement. If the link expires before you’ve downloaded, just reply to the email and we’ll send a fresh one.
Desktop licence includes OTF files. Digital licence includes both OTF and WOFF2 files; OTF for app, game, and non-web digital use; WOFF2 for web and browser-based use. A Digital licence does not permit desktop use of the OTF files, for that, a Desktop Licence is required. If you require a different file format, please reach out to us at hello@likelysuspects.co.
Yes, free trials of the full character set are available for all of our typefaces. Just enter your email and we’ll send a download link. Trial fonts are for evaluation, pitches, mockups, and student work only, not for published or commercial work.
Yes, a Desktop Licence covers logo and brand identity use, including trademark registration. Note that the typeface design itself cannot be trademarked, only the specific mark you create using it.
Yes, with a Digital Licence. Web fonts are delivered as WOFF2 files and must be self-hosted, i.e. on your own server or a platform you control, not via a third-party font hosting service.
Absolutely, trial fonts cover student and academic projects with no time limit. If your work is going to be published or exhibited commercially (involving money changing hands), you’ll need a licence. In that case, reach out and we can talk through what makes sense.
No, the font files themselves can’t be modified, decompiled, or reverse engineered. You can convert text to outlines in your design software and edit those freely. If you need a customised version of one of our typefaces, get in touch, that’s something we offer as a service.
Payments are handled securely by Stripe. All transactions are charged in New Zealand Dollars, with no hidden fees or surprises at checkout.
All prices are charged in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). We accept all major credit and debit cards. Payment is processed securely by Stripe, we never see or store your card details.
For international customers, your bank will convert the NZD total to your local currency at their prevailing rate. Use the currency toggle on the product page for a reference estimate, note that your checkout total is confirmed in NZD at payment, and the final amount charged in your currency may differ slightly.
You’ll receive a confirmation email with a secure download link for your font files and licence agreement. If it expires before you’ve downloaded, reply to the email and we’ll send a fresh one.
Because our fonts are digital products delivered immediately on purchase, we don’t offer refunds as standard. If you’ve made a genuine mistake, purchased the wrong licence type, or bought something you didn’t intend to, get in touch at hello@likelysuspects.co and we’ll do our best to make it right. Same goes for any technical issue with the files themselves.

The Font Software available for purchase on the Site is licensed, not sold. Use of Font Software is governed exclusively by the End User Licence Agreement provided at purchase.
The Site includes interactive type specimens and a type tester that load font files in your browser for display and evaluation purposes. These are provided to help you assess the fonts before purchasing a licence.
The font files loaded by the type tester and specimen pages are for on-screen evaluation only. They may not be extracted, saved, or used in any project. Any such use without a valid licence is a breach of our intellectual property rights.
Trial font downloads are available subject to the Trial End User Licence Agreement provided with the download. By downloading a trial font, you agree to be bound by those terms.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure the information on this Site is accurate and up to date, including pricing, font specifications, and language support claims.
